5.1 舞娘綴 tī 我後壁行

5.1 Bú-niû tòe tī góa āu-piah kiâⁿ [Tâi-gí gí-im]
Gē-jîn sûi-lâng the̍h ê hêng-lí, kap pôaⁿ-kòe Amagi Soaⁿ-koan ê sî kāng-khoán. Káu-á kā chêng-kha tah tī lāu-bú phō--i ê chhiú-chat, ká-ná chin koàn-sì lí-hêng ê khoán. Lī-khui Yugano, iū-koh chìn-ji̍p soaⁿ-khu. Kòa tī hái téng ê chá-khí ji̍t-thâu sio-sio chiò tī soaⁿ-io. Góan khòaⁿ hiòng chá-khí ê ji̍t-thâu, tī Kawazu Hô (河津川) ê hô-kháu, Kawazu hái-po͘ chheng-chhó tián-khui tī gán-chêng.
"He tō-sī Oshima neh."
"Khòaⁿ--khí-lâi chiâⁿ tōa neh, lí it-tēng ài lâi oh," bú-niû kóng.
Hoān-sè sī chhiu ê thiⁿ siuⁿ-kòe chheng, chiap-kīn ji̍t-thâu ê hái-bīn ká-ná chhun-thiⁿ án-ne tà chi̍t-iân po̍h-bū. Ùi chia kàu Shimoda ài kiâⁿ jī-cha̍p gōa kilo. Ū chi̍t-chūn, khòaⁿ bē tio̍h hái. Chiyoko khai-sí siau-iâu chū-chāi teh chhiùⁿ-koa.
Tô͘-tiong ū chi̍t-tiâu kīn-lō͘ ài peh lio̍h-á khah hiám ê soaⁿ-lō͘, m̄-koh ē-sái sok-té tāi-iok nn̄g kilo; in mn̄g góa: sī boeh kiâⁿ kīn-lō͘, a̍h-sī kiâⁿ pêⁿ-tháⁿ ê tōa-lō͘? Góa tong-jiân sī soán kīn-lō͘.
Che sī chi̍t-tiâu chhiū-kha lō͘, lo̍h-hio̍h ku̍t-liu-liu, kiā kah heng-khám hiah kiā. Góa peh kah chhoán-phīⁿ-phēⁿ, tian-tò khah piàⁿ-miā, iōng chhiú kī kha-thâu-u ka-sok. Kiâⁿ-leh kiâⁿ-leh, chi̍t-kiâⁿ lâng soah lak tī góa ê āu-piah, kan-ta ē-tàng thiaⁿ tio̍h ùi chhiū-nâ ni̍h thoân--lâi ê kóng-ōe siaⁿ. Bú-niû ka-tī chi̍t-lâng, saⁿ-á-ki khiú koân-koân, kóaⁿ kín-kín tòe tio̍h góa. I kiâⁿ tī āu-piah lī góa nn̄g-saⁿ pō͘, bô boeh sok-té, mā bô boeh thoa-khui. Góa oa̍t-thâu kap i kóng-ōe, i ná kiaⁿ-tio̍h thêng--lo̍h-lâi, chiah koh chhiò-chhiò ìn-ōe. Bú-niû kóng-ōe ê sî, góa tō thêng--lo̍h-lâi, hi-bōng i ē jiok óa--lâi, m̄-koh i mā thêng-pō͘ bô kiâⁿ, tán kàu góa koh kè-sio̍k kiâⁿ, i chiah boeh koh hoa̍h-pō͘. Tō-lō͘ oan-oan khiau-khiau, lú lâi kiā lú hiám, góa mā kiâⁿ lú kín, bú-niû kāng-khoán tòe tī āu-piah nn̄g-saⁿ pō͘ ê só͘-chāi choan-sim teh peh. Soaⁿ ni̍h tiām-chiuh-chiuh. Kî-thaⁿ ê lâng hn̄g-hn̄g lak tī āu-piah, liân kóng-ōe ê siaⁿ mā thiaⁿ bē tio̍h ah.

5.1 我後壁行 [台語語音]
藝人隨人提 ê 行李, kap 盤過 Amagi 山關 ê 時仝款. 狗仔 前跤搭 老母抱伊 ê 手節, ká-ná 真慣勢旅行 ê . 離開 Yugano, koh 進入山區. 海頂 ê 早起日頭燒燒照 tī 山腰. 阮看向早起 ê 日頭, tī Kawazu (河津川) ê 河口, Kawazu 海埔清楚展開 眼前.
"彼就是 Oshima neh."
"看起來誠大 neh, 你一定愛來 oh," .
凡勢是秋 ê siuⁿ 過清, 接近日頭 ê 海面 ká-ná 春天 án-ne 罩一沿薄霧. Ùi 遮到 Shimoda 愛行二十外 kilo. 有一陣, 看袂著海. Chiyoko 開始逍遙自在 teh 唱歌.
途中有一條近路愛 peh 略仔較險 ê 山路, 毋過會使縮短大約兩 kilo; in 問我: 是欲行近路, 抑是行平坦 ê 大路? 我當然是選近路.
這是一條樹跤路, 落葉滑溜溜, 崎甲胸坎 hiah . peh 甲喘 phīⁿ-phēⁿ, 顛倒較拚命, 用手 跤頭趺加速. leh leh, 一行人煞 lak tī ê 後壁, 干焦會當聽著 ùi 樹林 ni̍h 傳來 ê 講話聲. 家己一人, 衫仔裾搝懸懸, 趕緊緊綴著我. 伊行 後壁離我兩三步, 無欲縮短, mā 無欲拖開. 我越頭 kap 伊講話, 驚著停落來, koh 笑笑應話. 講話 ê , 停落來, 希望伊會逐倚來, 毋過伊 停步無行, 等到我 koh 繼續行, 伊才欲 koh 伐. 道路彎彎曲曲, 愈來崎愈險, 行愈緊, 仝款綴 後壁兩三步 ê 所在專心 teh peh. 山 ni̍h chiuh-chiuh. 其他 ê 人遠遠 lak tī 後壁, 連講話 ê 聽袂著 ah.

The entertainers were carrying the same luggage they had hauled through Amagi Pass. The puppy rested his paws on the woman's arm, looking like a seasoned traveler. Just outside Yugano we found ourselves again in the mountains. The sun hanging over the sea warmed the slopes. We gazed toward the morning sun. Kawazu Beach spread wide in the sunlight out where the Kawazu River flowed .
"That's Oshima over there, isn't it?" I said.
"Of course it is. See how big it looks. Please do come," the dancing girl said.
Perhaps the autumn sky was too dazzling; the sea near the sun looked misted over as it is in the spring. It was another twelve-mile walk from there to Shimoda. For a while the ocean was blocked from view. Chiyoko began to sing a carefree song.
Along the way I was asked whether I preferred to take the main road, which was easier, or a steep path over the mountains that was well over a mile shorter. Naturally I chose the shortcut.
It was an abrupt climb through the trees. I feared we would slip on the fallen leaves. I got so winded that, half in desperation, I pressed down on my knees with the palms of my hands to pick up my pace. Every time I glanced back, the others had fallen farther behind until I could only hear their voices among the trees, except for the dancing girl, who was holding up her skirts and trudging along behind me. She was trailing me by about two yards, neither trying to close the distance between us nor dropping farther back. When I turned and spoke to her, she paused as if startled, then smiled and replied. When she spoke to me, I waited, to give her a chance to catch up. But I should have known that she would stop short and refuse to take a step until I did. When the path twisted and grew even steeper, I quickened my pace again and found the dancing girl climbing intently, as always, just a couple of yards behind me. The mountains were still. The rest of the group was so far behind I could no longer hear them talking.
